COMPANY
Bialetti Industrie came into being
Many important events have marked the evolution of the Group’s activity. In 2000 the company branch Presmetal Casalinghi was acquired whilst in 2001 it was the turn of the Guido Bergna company branch, with the Gb-Guido Bergna brand, a manufacturer of steel coffee makers and home accessories.
2002 saw the birth of the present-day Bialetti Industrie and its growth continued in 2003 with the absorption of OMG and the establishment of the parent company, Bialetti Holding.
The will to be even more competitive on the market of small electrical appliances led to the acquisition of Girmi and its long-standing brand in 2005. In the same year, with the aim of laying the foundations for a manufacturing and commercial site for Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the Bialetti Group bought CEM, a well known brand in Turkey with a long tradition, and incorporated Cem Bialetti, for the production and sale of non-stick aluminium cookware. In 2006 it bought Aeternum, the historical Italian brand and leader in steel production.
The type of products offered by Bialetti Industrie covers the segments that represent the two strategic business areas in which it operates:
-Houseware, which includes cookware, non-electric coffee makers and kitchen accessories;
-SEA, which comprises small electrical appliances, including electric coffee makers.
